A Clifton Joinery timber conservatory is a most exciting and stylish addition to any home. From initial designs through to complete installation we manufacture individually designed hardwood conservatories to transform living spaces, creating rooms that let you enjoy the lightness of the outdoor environment, whatever the weather.

If you are looking for timber conservatories we can offer you a wide choice, anything from a lean-to conservatory, a Victorian or Edwardian conservatory or a completely bespoke design. The technology behind our manufacturing process which includes our timber windows, doors, bi-folds and lantern roofs, means that we can also create the clean contemporary conservatory designs that work well with modern properties.

Using a matrix of sizes underwritten by our structural engineer every roof made is designed to meet current British standards. Structural tie-bars to be included where necessary and if building regulation approval is required full structural calculations can be supplied.

In addition, we have many years experience of supply to the trade. If you are interested in Clifton Joinery supplying full or partial timber conservatories please contact us to discuss our trade terms.

Ironmongery

Our joinery is of exceptional standard so we only use the very highest quality ironmongery to complement it. We can supply a variety of finishes and styles to suit your requirements or to match existing ironmongery. Click here to see our standard range of conservatory handles.

Conservatory Timber Options

We use primarily solid timber for our conservatories, machined and detailed in our own workshop. Idigbo is very often used as our standard timber. It has excellent durability and lifespan and takes either a clear or painted finish extremely well. A frequent alternative is Red Grandis though other species such as Accoya are also available. If you are interesting in rustic oak conservatories, orangeries or garden rooms, please visit County Oak for more information.

Hardware

There are a range of styles and finishes available. We can combine modern practical advantages such as automated skylight ventilation and a range of guttering options.

Timber Finish

We offer a range of finishes to suit the location, timber and your preferences. When a painted finish is required, we use three coats of micro-porous paint and we offer five different stained finishes which are applied in two coats. Paint and stain finishes are spray applied in the factory to ensure quality and we can provide timber samples if required.

Glass Options and Specifications

A range of double glazed units can be accommodated. We always use softcoat low e glass units filled with argon gas for improved thermal efficiency and we fit various other options to improve “u” values or to ensure greater security. Solar control, Easy-Clean and etched or patterned glass can also be incorporated as can apertures for cat flaps if required.

Quality Craftsmanship

Your timber conservatory is machined, joined, finished and the walling glazed in our workshop by our own highly skilled and qualified joiners. The whole process is under our control and your conservatory leaves our workshop fully factory finished, wrapped and ready for installation.

Installation Option

If you require your timber conservatory installed at your property, or would like a quotation to include ground and building work, please contact David Salisbury for details of the complete turn-key package.
