Timber choices, Ironmongery, Finishes
Working with selected hardwoods such as European Oak or Sapele, we combine modern practical advantages such as automated ventilation and patented glass roofing systems with the period features of the existing building. We incorporate traditional mouldings and features such as fine glazing details, fluting and stained glass.
Our microporous paint is spray applied in our own factory to give a highly durable, breathable finish. For a clear finish, for Oak particularly, we use acrylic lacquer or Danish oil which makes for a stunning effect.
Glazing
For improved thermal efficency, our double glazed panels use Argon filled, soft coat low “e” glass, economical in use and they won’t cost the earth!
